UFC BJJ 1 (Epic)

UFC BJJ 1 dropped this week and I'm still buzzing about it.

If you haven’t heard about it, the UFC now has a Brazilian jiu-jitsu league (black belts only), and for all you fight fans, you’re gonna love it!

Two fighters caught my eye in the comp.

Andrew Tackett, the rising star everyone's talking about. Then there's Mikey Musumeci.

Here's the thing about Mikey.

He looks like the kid who got stuffed in lockers during high school. Skinny, geeky, thick glasses perched on his nose. The kind of guy who probably knows every Pokemon by heart and builds LEGO Death Stars for fun.

You'd walk past him on the street without a second glance. Maybe even feel a little sorry for him.

But here's what blew my mind…

This dorky little dude is now the UFC BJJ Bantamweight champion.

Not only that, he’s already the five-time world champion in the IBJJF.

And when he steps on that mat? He breaks legs like he's snapping pencil leads.

Watching him work was like seeing a magic trick. One second his opponent looks confident and ready. The next second they're tapping out frantically before their knee explodes.

I’ve never seen skill like it. I was honestly mesmerised from start to finish.

But afterwards, it got me thinking about something important.

The most dangerous people rarely look the part. They don't flex on Instagram or talk tough at the gym. They just quietly master their craft while everyone else is busy posturing.

In copywriting, it's the same deal. The flashiest gurus with the biggest followings? They're usually selling you recycled garbage. But the quiet ones who actually get results? They're the ones breaking through with methods nobody expects to work.

That's exactly what I discovered when I started testing unconventional outreach methods. While everyone else was sending the same boring cold emails, I was trying stuff that sounded completely insane. Methods that made other copywriters shake their heads and laugh.

Guess what happened? Those "stupid" methods started landing me $1000+ clients faster than anything I'd tried before. In two months, I signed 15 high-paying clients using techniques that shouldn't work but totally do.

That's why I created "Milk the Octopus." Eight outreach methods that sound as crazy as trying to milk an eight-armed sea creature. But just like Mikey breaking legs, they get results when nobody expects them to.

Stop trying to out-muscle the competition with the same tired tactics everyone else uses.
