How To See Success With Copywriting In 2025
Laziness is going to get you nowhere.
If you’re anything like me, you got pulled into copywriting by the promises of grandeur and freedom.
The reality is that it isn’t going to come overnight.
Forget the sunshine and rainbows that have been sprinkled on your dick about working 1 hour a day for $10,000 per month, coz it simply isn’t true.
If you want any chance of succeeding in this profession then you’re gonna be working 12 hours a day when you first start out.
That includes outreach, practice work, and practical work until you reach a point where you can delete 2 of these time consuming factors.
“So what about when I’m secure with 3+ clients? I’ll be getting 2k/month for 3 emails a week, right?”
Sorry dude. It’s a fairy tail.
3 years ago you might’ve been able to get away with slapping some words on a google doc and getting paid for it, but with the amount of guru’s bringing in hundreds of wannabe’s on bored every week, that isn’t gonna cut it anymore.
With that being said, here’s the additional steps you need to take in order to expand your services and actually stand out in a world full of google doc wannabe’s:
Step 1 - Emailing Software’s
Start getting used to email software’s. If you wanna stand out to your clients, at least know what you’re doing with emails. Don’t just slap a few words on a doc and send it over… Onboard their software’s and do it yourself! It takes no extra time but makes all the difference!

Step 2 - Market Research
Copywriting isn’t just about slapping some sauce together and expecting the consumer to enjoy it. You ever try putting chocolate sauce on your chicken nuggets?
Yes??? Fucking weirdo.
Anyway, the point i’m trying to make is that you have to research your cuisine before you decide what sauce will compliment it best. If you’re hitting every topic and every niche with the same generalised templates, then your copy isn’t going to do its job.
Step 3 - Funneling
Picture this: You’ve got a room full of people, all of which have different likes, dislikes, and beliefs. Your task is simple: You’re the chef, and it’s your job to feed this room full of people, getting as many 5 star reviews as possible. The only catch is that the menu’s you hand out can only display 1 option.
Do you think you can satisfy everyone in the room with a menu that contains only 1 option?
No you can’t. So what do you do?
You have to segment your audience into different groups by identifying what they like, and what they dislike. And the only way you’re going to satisfy the entire room, is by handing out separate menu’s based on what each group prefers.
Treat your copywriting like a menu. When writing copy, you need to target the right group of people with the right type of copy. That means funneling your audience and hitting each group with the copy that will convert best for them.

Step 4 - Coming soon
I’ve met my quota for today, so the next steps will be released in the next email.
If you’re going to take anything away from this email, take away this:
You will get nowhere in life trying to be lazy.
If you wanna be lazy, then work hard to be lazy after.
Be the wolf in a room full of sheep and you’ll start seeing a lot more success in life.
Peace out.

P.S: If you want to see me demonstrate these techniques in a free copywriting tutorial, then check out the first video in my 6-part copywriting course here. Part 2 will be releasing tomorrow and every Monday there after. I’ll release an email with some more sauce each time i post a video.
