You NEED To Learn This If You Want To Be A Copywriter

Making a quick lil tips and tricks email to teach you all a mandatory skill that isn’t being taught by your favorite guru.
I’m assuming you are all beasts at writing direct response, and that’s good.
The only problem is that direct response only works when targeting product aware customers, and customers who are ready to buy.
For some reason, nobody talks about the importance of brand copy.
A type of copy that should take up 66% of your weekly emails.
So today, I’m gonna briefly explain how to do it.
Now, brand copy comes in many forms. Some methods of brand copy consist of:
Newsletters
Product showcases
Value Emails
Special offers
And many more.
Assuming you write 3 emails / week for your client - 2 of those emails should be brand copy targeting unaware customers in order to ease them into the brand and what it offers.
You can identify your unaware customers by segmenting your clients audience, using the conditions below:
{Emails > Any Email > Was Not > Opened}
{Attribute > Engagement > Open Rate > Is less than or equal to > 1%}
There’s many more variations of segment conditions, but this is the best way to group your uninterested subscribers.
Brand copy works to create interest within uninterested subscribers. And you can do this by simply highlighting the brand and its benefits - before eventually identifying problems.
A good way to write brand copy is by using colorful pictures, brand slogans, and big words.
Make sure you are giving value to the customer and nothing else.
It’s all much more in depth than that, so instead of wasting my time writing an email only 10% of you are gonna read - I’d advise you to do your own research and learn how to write effective brand copy.
